In an unprecedented move for a major professional sports league, the NFL has proposed partnering with its players to effect social justice change, though not all players are in agreement on the proposal. On Monday, the league submitted to players the final draft of a proposal that, according to documents reviewed by ESPN, would contribute nearly $100 million to causes considered important to African-American communities. The NFL hopes this effort will effectively end the peaceful-yet-controversial movement that former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started when he refused to stand for the national anthem last season.

Typical crybaby liberals. These overpaid millionaires are demanding someone else donate to their causes rather than doing it themselves ....

Donate all you want, anywhere you want, or don’t. I’m still done with the NFL.

Another shake down. Why not just call the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson? He is the king of this strategy.

Why not just call the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson?

Him and Al are calling the NFL offices in NYC asking for their cut.

And not one dime of that hundred million will reach the intended parties after the local black leaders in the cities where that money is going get their cut, and then the local governments get their usual “consulting” fees!

And where is this $100 million coming from?

- Merchandise sales

- Ticket sales

- Tax-free bonds or sales taxes taxpayers agreed to fund billion-dollar stadiums

- Infrastructure around the stadium

- Concession sales

- Advertising in which fans go out and buy the product

- Cable or satellite sales

ALL OF THIS IS PAID FOR BY THE FANS.
THE NFL HAS BEEN RIPPING OFF ITS FANS FOR DECADES AND THIS IS JUST THE FINAL F-U FROM THE LEAGUE TO THE FANS.

I wish I hadn't lost total interest in "ThugBall 2" back in 1985 or so, so I could also say, "not on my dime."

If I still had the slightest interest, I would make the counteroffer of giving me a lower-priced ticket.
Which I don't.
So I won't.

Moving right along...

What groups? BLM? Planned Parenthood? Obama's organization--OFA? Teachers Unions?

$100 million a year?

I hate to break the news to Goodell.

The payoff won’t work. They will just want more the next time.

Payola/slush fund, from the fans! No surprise that they have perfected the Dims’ playbook!
Die, NFL.

Blackmail, plane and simple.

Warning to NFL, your $100 million will sow even more resentment with even more fans.

The top earning players can collectively make those $100 million donations on their own dimes, on an individual by individual basis, without offending any other players or fans as to what is a deserving organization for receiving the funds. It’d be their own money, no one else’s so they are free to expend it how they want.

Blackmailing the league to do some members politically charged charity work for them is wrong, completely wrong.

And what if the players are still kneeling after the donation? Or, what if they start kneeling for some other cause?

Note to the head of the Dallas cowboys. If this takes a consensus of the NFL team owners, then veto it.
