The rainfall showers are nice unless you are on a well in which case they become drizzle heads.

For most people, the oversized tubs look nice but in practice they take too long to fill and the people who can afford them discover that they don't have time to take long soaking baths and they lapse into extended disuse.

I’d also hate to lean over to clean the large tubs. And how do you clean behind and under the freestanding ones?

I replaced a big Jacuzzi tub with a smaller freestanding tub last year. My hot water heater (50 gallons) wasn’t big enough to fill the Jacuzzi, and as a result I never used it.

I remember seeing a shower in a magazine fifty years ago. Glass doors, rock walls just like an outdoor cliff pool. It really looked nice.
So I says to myself, HOW will they clean the soap scum buildup off the rocks?

I’ll take an old fashioned shower any day.
