That’s a kitchen for cooking with friends. Lots of room, lots of counter space, separation so people don’t get in each other’s way and a feeling of openness. Great choice.

And yet is it not so big and expansive that I couldn’t see myself making a simple meal for one.

But I could definitely see me making a big Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner or any other meal for a crowd in that kitchen or having my 6 great nieces over for a sleep over and they and me making a big breakfast together or baking Christmas cookies. The only thing I would change is perhaps instead of the oven below the range, double wall ovens.

And sitting there drinking your coffee or tea in the morning and just relaxing. I chose a counter stovetop and use the area under for storage. Prefer a wall oven because I don’t lean over. The problem in that kitchen is losing another piece of counter space or a window. I suppose it would have to be the counter to the right, which is probably next to the refrigerator.
