Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin will be fired following the Aggies' regular-season finale at LSU on Saturday night, multiple people with knowledge of the situation said. Sumlin is expected to be dismissed in the day or days following the A&M game against the Tigers. The Aggies are a double-digit underdog to the Tigers, and an A&M victory wouldn't save his job at this point, the sources said.

He put Tennessee in a bowl game his first year. Downhill ever sense. And that dammed orange pants Dooley hire was stupid. I’m a Tennessee fan and I want to them and Arkansas back on top.
By the way, Kiffin was a stupid hire. Anyone with half a brain should have known he’d go to SC as soon as it was available. I said that the day Tennessee hired him.
I think frost will go to Florida.
He’s turned around two teams from some of the sorriest places on Earth to live. He could do it in the hell hole that is Lincoln.
Agree on Frost. He's got to be eyeing UF - break into the SEC and it's only 2 hours north for him. I really think he's got that Fun 'n Gun type excitement for GatorNation.
Just my opinion on Nebraska is the Cornhuskers should stop being something they are not, and go back to doing the Nebraska thing again.
I know most of College Football is doing the Spread or Pro offense. But Nebraska was great when they ran the ball behind the big dogs. You may not be able to go back to the wishbone, but you certainly can go back to what made Nebraska great again. Go big and strong again. They need to Zig when everyone else is Zagging.
Leach is the spread/gimic king. That is the last thing Nebraska needs.
If this afternoon's rumors of Chip Kelly to UCLA are true, then I think that Scott Frost goes to Florida, breaking the hearts of the Cornhusker Nation. There is some consolation for the Nebraska fans if they lose their top choice - their search is relatively risk-free with Les Miles openly campaigning for the job. If they don't get a higher-profile candidate, Les Miles is a lot better fallback position than most schools have.
If I were an agent for a cfb coach, I'd caution strongly against going to A & M. The job is fool's gold in my opinion. It's impossible to meet the fans' inflated expectations. The institutionalized inferiority complex of the Aggies with regard to anything UT is most pronounced in their football and will only get worse as Tom Herman gets things rolling in Austin.
Mike Riley never should have taken the Nebraska job. Wasn’t a goof fit.
Nebraska has hire the Washington State AD, but I think it would not be smart for Mike Leach to leave WAZZU Nebraska. The administration at WAZZU leaves him alone and the Alumni do the same. That’s not going to happen at Nebraska.
More distorted than Texas fans? Hardly.
