Might have been that first grader's third or fourth trip through the grade...

Our only issues were with severely autistic kids. It was like having a fire alarm in the room. Every so often during the day, it would go off. Everything in the classroom became weaponized.
I remember two were savants. You could show a glue bottle to one and then hide it. He could draw it in perfect detail ....in first grade.
The other could remember the stats of every NFL player for that year. He could also throw a football 100 yards while standing still. Just his arm. But he had a bad habit of using the N word during a game which a white kid should not do.
