The Silverdome was actually a beautiful stadium.
I remember as you exited the air pressure that held up the roof kind of fired you out the door like a pellet in an air rifle.

Only went a few times, a Drum and Bugle Corps show in '76(?)(the acoustics were horrible, BTW), a van show(with The Fonz & The Ghoul), also in the 70's...then a couple(2-3)Lions games. Last time I went there was for the U.S Open Golf Championship at Oakland Hills CC(?)in '95-'96. They picked up folks from the Silverdome parking lot and bused them to the golf course.

Yeah,(heh)I remember the "whoooooosh!" when the doors opened.

That's how the ODome on the UF Campus was when I attended there.
