If God hates sinners, why did the Holy Spirit inspire Peter to write this?
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
Ok, does this passage refer to God’s permissive will (boulomai) or is it His determined, non-negotiable will (thelema)? That is, does He permit you to have a choice as to whether you are going to repent, or not?
