30 years as a firefighter doing CPR on full arrests and I can emphatically state this is BS. We were definitely more careful with modesty with females but not in vigorous CPR.

It’s a very traumatic procedure often with clothes being cut off, chest bones getting broken, and all sorts of IVs, Oral Airways, and electric shocks.

Most witnessed full arrests don’t recover, and 99% of unwitnessed full arrests die, male or female.

Reread the excerpt. This involves untrained bystanders, not emergency providers.
