Ha! I’m in my forties (ancient to my daughters) and know that even though my legs are in decent shape...I’m in my forties!
Saw a very trim, lovely and stylish woman singing on the worship team today. I would guess that she’s in her mid to late forties-really quite a beautiful woman. No matter how great you look at that age, bare knees above tall boots with taller socks are not the best choice. I’m not being snarky-just reflected on it and applied the lesson to myself.
I wear tights and/or nylons with dresses and skirts and my daughters cringe. My daughters go bare legged with dresses and skirts and I cringe.
It never fails that someone on here says...put on hose/nylons. NO ONE wears them any more and haven’t in over 20 years!

Corporate, financial services, health care, law, commercial aviation, government/politics — some of the sectors where hose are expected or required. Kate Middleton’s wearing of hose is causing a comeback among millenials. Maybe the real issue is that Miss Hicks is too young to be the White House Communications Director.
Yeah. I don’t like the way she snubbed Melania in one of the receiving lines in Asia. Sorry I can’t name which one. But I clearly saw the snub. Melania extended her hand. Hope turned away. There was no reason for it. Then she commenced smiling and greeting after Melania had passed by. The young woman is trouble. Full of herself.
I worked in corporate for a long time and quit wearing them over 20 years ago. No one else in our office did either.
(Nope, don’t look, must not look. Good thing I have my sunglasses)
I like it - kind of a “chic peasant” look and works good with the girl-next-door look.
