I wonder if they will think it a big deal when the Chinese evict them from their 5 star digs and throw them in the hoosegow 3 minutes after the teams return flight is wheels up?

Their demeanor is a very big deal to Chinese prosecutors. Any reduction of sentence is a balance of value of items stolen (not looking good), video evidence (exists), their confession and remorse for their actions (which they just blew in documented tweets)

This is a good article with input from a Hong Kong human rights expert who studies China judicial system.

I guess, besides no one telling them there are cameras all over China, no one has told them of their electronic surveillance.

...but they will soon find out!!!
