I didn’t need a mumps vaccination because I had it when I was 5. It’s a disease that’s nasty in kids and very dangerous to adults, especially men. How’d you like your testes to swell to 2 or 3 times normal size and then be sterile because of it?
Before the vaccine was developed Mumps Parties were a thing.
Anti-vaxers are silly and misguided but I respect their rights to choose. I do not acknowledge that they have a right to force the risk they choose onto others.
You don’t want to vaccinate your kids that’s fine by me. Just don’t bring them around others. That means no public schools, etc.
