It seems like there's been a few high-profile cases now of people passing NICS background checks who should've been prohibited.
So a failure of the BATFE background check process? 8 years into Obamas people running it?

Did he have a dishonorable discharge or a bad conduct discharge? I think it makes a difference. But the domestic abuse while he was in the Air Force should have prohibited him, I would think.
That appears to be accurate. If we are going to have background checks, we should have court martial convictions in the national database. Criminals willing to commit mass murder are also willing to lie on government forms . . . or even ignore "GUN FREE ZONE" signs.
