That would explain why there isn't any serious concern about conducting an investigation since their infractions are presumed to be primarily political in nature. It would also support her assertion about continual 'trumped' up charges driven by the VRWC and commercial conservative sites like FR.
And finally, it would explain why never-Trumpers, the Bushs and other GOPe stalwarts didn't/won't support Trump: he exploited these kinds of dirty & misleading innuendo and rumors to fuel his own narcissistic desires for power, fame & glory.

Hmm, don't like that scenario? Think perhaps the Clintons and entire deep state apparatus are actually guilty of wide-scale corruption, sedition & treason? Then, wouldn't it be then logical to conclude that if these charges are true, Sessions - by not prosecuting or resigning; and Trump, by not firing & replacing Sessions, are both guilty of:
- dereliction of duty
- desertion of post
- cowardice in the face of the enemy
To make matters worse, Trump callously mentioned to a gold star wife that her husband "knew what he signed up for". Isn't that the height of crassness coming from someone who is himself personally afraid to risk his position & reputation? That is, Trump - as president - declining to pursue serious, actionable crimes against the country. Whereas it's completely expected that a soldier should give his very life in sacrifice to simply gain a (temporary) tactical position?
As you can see, none of this makes sense. You either have to believe Clinton is innocent, or think Sessions/Trump are the worst kinds of hypocrites & cowards, if something isn't actually going down behind the scenes.

Total stupidity on your part.
There was nothing “crass” about president Trump’s call, as well substantiated by his chief of staff!

No, I don't think the Clintons are innocent. Even a lot of Democrats don't believe that either.
Yes I think Sessions is a coward and a weasel. Only recently did I start thinking that, but his complete deference to Rosenstein on whether Uranium One should be investigated, when Senator Grassley stated he felt that it should be and a special counsel appointed, was a major part in the why my opinion has changed. He left the Russia investigation up to Rosenstein too, and now that is a non-stop media assault that has resulted in Trump's campaign manager being indicted on charges having nothing to do with the campaign.
As far as Trump, he's not delivered the justice he promised, either. He looks weak with his constant whining on Twitter that there's nothing he can do, when it looks like he's not trying anything but whining on Twitter, despite being the leader of the executive branch. Will I go so far as dereliction of duty? Not for Trump, yet, since his Presidency has had many successes outside the administration of justice, but definitely for Sessions since the application of justice is his sole responsibility now.
Would I like this crackpot theory to be true, that this whole Mueller investigation has been setup to nab Hillary, and not Trump? Sure, but there's simply zero evidence of that. So what we get as a result is a weakened President, an emboldened prosecutor being hailed as a Saint by supposed Trump supporters even though he's only indicting Trump associates, and division between our ranks. So I see no reason for me to not keep people's feet to the fire, starting with Mueller, and anyone who supports him, at this point.
