I’m surprised someone didn’t complain that the barriers are not environmentally pleasing.

Barriers aren’t the solution. There was no need for barriers before the muzzy invasion.

How about placing the barriers where they belong - at the ports of entry to the US?
Placing them along the bike paths simply invites the ISIS vermin to go to Plan B (and then C and D etc. as needed).
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

Actually, it’s a beautiful view along there, and whenever they put barriers up, they spoil it.
Instead of putting up barriers, expel the terrorists. This guy was well known to the authorities, and apparently they just loved having him there.

How stupid. Now they’ll think of another way to attack. You are NOT solving the problem. Deport ALL Muslims. The authorities are beyond ignorant and stupid.

The barriers are meant to protect pedestrians and cyclists on the greenway from vehicular traffic on the West Side Highway. Really? How many accidents have occurred there in the past? Probably zero.
Tell Mayor DeBlasio that you can't solve a problem until you know exactly what the problem is. And we know what the problem is - muslim vermin that comes here to kill and maim.

Steyn pointed out long ago how persistent the delusion of our leadership is in Western countries that are being plagued with mudslimes. They go to great lengths to put up barriers on the curb but no attempt to put any barrier at the border. Absolute insanity.

    Barriers are the solution.
Move the barriers to the airports.
Move them to the ports.
Place them along the borders.
Increase the travel ban, take the barrier from 7 nations to 85.

They will just add to the clutter, congestion and disarray in Manhattan. Ugly concrete barriers. Adds to the Third World look and vibe of NYC.
Whoever makes them is getting rich.

"The 20-foot-long Jersey barriers put in by the state are particularly dangerous, according to White, because they turn a two-way bike lane into one single lane, effectively putting north and southbound cyclists on a collision course. And what about the perhaps 10s of miles of other bike lanes throughout Manhattan? Will they too get concrete barriers?

The biggest problem with barriers is access to the area for Police vehicles.
A islamofacist can go in on a bike and a autoloader with lots of full magazines.
Once again NYC thinking inside the barracade.
