“What evidence is there that the number of guns one owns has a correlation with criminality? None, but it’s the idea that bugs the left, rational or not.”

To answer your question (from anecdotal evidence), when I owned 1 gun I was no less likely to commit a crime than now, when I own, uh, more than 1. Ditto for every single firearms owner that I’ve ever come across, in multiple states.

As to why that bugs the Left...it is because you can always give a spare gun, ammo and mags to a friend or relative, and multiply your effectiveness against their attempt to impose dictatorial control over your life. Less guns = less opposition to them...which makes me want to buy more guns, ammo and accessories every time I think about them and their proclivities.

It is possible to have too many guns, one needs a
good balance of frags and crew served weapons.
Also air strikes come in handy at times.
