Going to see it tomorrow night. Dinner and a movie 🎥 no Halloween in this house. The problem is the boatload of south of the border types that show up in minivans. We use to buy so much candy. It was no fun anymore. Just older teens and a lot of young adults with bags and a lot in no costume, running crazy.

We get lots of out-of-neighborhood families driving in, too. But they are always polite, courteous, and appreciative. The little ones are so fun to watch. I used to mind, but it’s bringing joy to them so it’s ok with me.

One year we had truckloads of illegals, adults too. None spoke English. Hubby went out and bought more candy three times that night. Took all the fun out. I noticed the children from our hood came early, the truckloads came after nine. We stopped giving candy at 8 or 8 30. That helps. I didn’t buy candy this year. I hope to go see that Clooney movie and Light movie. I guess I will nix the Clooney movie.
