I agree with you. There are degrees of sexual assault. Obviously. I’ve been felt up on the bus. It’s not the same as being raped in a car or drugged at a bar. There are degrees for all criminal behavior.
No man should be grabbing the butt of a woman who isn’t his wife or girlfriend. Obviously it’s sexual in nature.
And if it were “dementia” which I know is a real thing then he shouldn’t be enabled about it. Were my husband doing this at every photo opp I’d stop the photo ops for example.
People expect decency from their president. This weird behavior pattern is not funny and it’s not ok. Even though it is not at Weinstein or Polanski level. It’s in the spectrum.
Suppose the school janitor were grabbing children’s butts on the playground. Would we wink at that? I’d hope not.
