The world's wealthiest individuals are on a roll with billionaires in Asia leading the pack.

Billionaire wealth increased 17 percent to $6 trillion in 2016, after a decline the previous year, UBS AG and PricewaterhouseCoopers said in a report issued Thursday. Led by China, the number of the region's billionaires surpassed the U.S. for the first time.

Well. America we're number two.

Congratulations. Funny thing. You export all of our manufacturing, and it turns out it makes FOREIGNERS more wealthy.

Americans. Not so much.

Amen. I can remember having arguments with some corporatist friends of mine in the 80s, 90s, etc who claimed it was conservative to send our private sector union jobs to China, etc.

The Harvard educated fools that run the “west” and Goldman etc took the Chinese etc out of rick shaws and put them in our BMWs. These are the same traitors that push multiculturalist invaders on the west to purposely dumb us down so our culture and country can be plundered.

The sell-outs have included all of our Presidents, for the entire last generation.

All of them. Democrats and Republicans.

All the way back to the first Bush, who may not have been on board the sell-out (that was pretty early in the process). Every single person since though, has been selling out America, every one of them.

Trump, stand up for America again.

Please.

Absolutely correct - both Ds and Rs outsourced our jobs and in sourced cheap but costly (in the end) to America labor.

Well. America we're number two.

Are we, though? Asia is a continent. If we're comparnig the number of billionaires in the US to the total number of billionaires in China, India, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. - well, if it takes the most highly populated continent in the world to produce more billionaires than the US economy can by itself, I'd say we're still doing pretty good.

I went to a Walmart yesterday.

EVERYTHING was made in China. It was ridiculous. Way out of control.

(I know, not literally everything. Lots of the food sold there seems to have a US contribution - but production is almost completely from China) And it’s not just Walmart. Everywhere, anymore.

America is starting to go the wrong direction.

Trump seemed to get this. He’s the first US President who has, everyone else for the entire generation, has been 100% sold to China.

But he’s not doing anything yet, that I can see anyway, to start to build up American production again.

Build the wall. Bring back American production.

It is time to be for America again.
