“O Brother, Where Art Thou?” was good.

I was in Korea when that came out. Had a friend tell me to see it and that he thought it was great. I did not care for it.

The only thing I can think of that I liked was One Fine Day. But I may be the only guy. Can't stand his politics and I just can't set that aside. Same for Matt Damon, Leo,.....

The one guy I like that I know is a big lib is Ben Affleck. It seems he tries to keep it to himself.

I liked O Brother Where Art Thou better than I'd expected but I still have problems with it. The incongruous out-of-era song, the Instagram photoshopping of all of the colors in the movie (the crops and woods are lush green but washed out browns in the movie). In short, it's all manipulation and fake.

I find the Cohen Bros. movies to be a mixed bag. Never fully enjoy any of them that I've seen but they are watchable (at least until the narratives go off the rails).

For me, it was the music and the humor. I guess it was before he took himself that seriously.
