Don’t know how you get that idea. VP Pence would assume office and nobody could stop that via appointment.
It was something that came out of the trap of Wolf Blitzer at the time, before the inauguration, he asked a panel what if Trump AND Pence were both assassinated, could Obama appoint Clinton to the White House..that was CNN’s logic, already asking hey if Trump dies how can Clinton still become President..imagine someone on Fox News asking right before Obama took office, hey if Obama and Biden both die can McCain and Sarah Palin become President/VP, imagine the reaction from the Commie Media
