I’m just gonna come right out and say it:
This whole story is the equivalent of finally admitting that pro wrestling is fake.
Heck, when I was in HIGH SCHOOL IN 1970 we knew about the concept of the casting couch. My whole life I’ve just assumed that every truly successful female star (and no small number of the male ones) and gotten where they were because they, at the very least, slept with someone. It’s why I was not really ever interested in doing such a thing myself. The price of admission was simply too high.
Not that any of this is justified and I’m glad it’s blowing up, but everybody - even the general public - acting surprised really cracks me up.
The changes that will come will be very good, though.

She admits Bill is a sexual predator but he is her lovable good friend (she says) and his victims are not movie stars or important like her, so they don’t count.
