Back during the 50th anniversary (2013), there was a documentary series that explored every theory. Most of them were too cockeyed and complicated, involving too many people who would've has someone eventually talk.

The LBJ theory was simple and straightforward, explaining motive, opportunity and circumstances. What convinced me was his former mistress who told the interviewer that LBJ always treated her with kindness except one time when she asked him about the theory and he warned her to never, ever, mention it again. Not even in jest. She knew "the look" and he was dead serious.

My only problem with “To many people, and someone would talk” is that I have seen many instances where they DON’T talk.

How many old misslemen talk about their silo days in detail? For that matter, there are quite a few old things from previous employers that I am not able to talk about, and that is just ethics.
