Yeah, a Marine could indeed have done the shooting no problem and not a doubt about that. 81 meters? The Marine rifle course -begins- at 200, and goes out to 500. And that ain’t sitting in a comfortable window with a soda.

But the question is, if he was a communist, why did he shoot the JFK? Did he go after the people attacking the president constantly accused of being soft on the communists? Noooo... he shoots his own guy supposedly.

Who benefits? We all know who benefits, the people who want documents from 1963 to remain hidden.

Oliver Stone had way more right than wrong.

That sir is the key to this whole thing. Oswald was a Marine. And you do not become a Marine unless you qualify as a marksman. Oliver Stone knew that when he made this film and he knows that today. He completely changed that key element in the movie. No recruit shoots "Maggie's Drawers' on a Marine rifle range and goes on to earn the Globe And Anchor.
