Every American Embassy has contingency plans to evacuate Amcits in case of emergency. It is the reason why they encourage Americans to register with the Embassy when residing in the country. It is no secret.
That’s a good point.
Now that I think about that, maybe I would like to do the same at the embassy in Ho Chi Minh City, when I get back there.
Seems very stable there, not that I am concerned (at all), but maybe that would be a good idea.
