Great point about Karla Bonoff. I have a few songs of hers on my iPod (Loving you, Isn’t it always love, Someone to lay down beside, I can’t hold on). She may not have the vocal range Linda Rondstadt had, but you are right about the passion.

Karla Bonoff was also a friend of Kenny Edwards who was one of Linda Ronstadt's producers and bass player. Kenny and Karla were members of a group, Brandyl, that had four fantastic musicians in it. Kenny Edwards was also an original member of the Stone Poneys and was with Canned Heat and went on to play for years and sing with Ronstadt. Unfortunately Edwards passed away a few years ago.
