The history of Haiti tells the story.
That history has already been re-written by the left; Haiti failed because of reparations they had to pay the French for seizing properties and such.
Now Haiti has joined the cluster of non-white countries seeking free money because they are victims of “climate change”. Years ago a I saw an aerial photo in National Geographic of the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic; the contrast was STARK - a perfect line where lush vegetation met a desert. Apparently the Haitians never replanted as they took down forests for cooking fires - and it shows.
Definitely white peoples’ fault - even though Haiti had been independent for over 175 years...
