It's a fair point you make. Another point in your favor would be that only one window really gave him a good shot at the concert. The other window was supposedly so he could shoot at the fuel tanks. So unless the close shooting was when he shot at the tanks, it begs the question, why is he switching windows?

I am not saying he switched windows at this sequence if I understand what you are saying. The first (single) shots started here where it is claimed he was shooting at the tanks. I think I hear other shots from a different local shortly after the first 2 or 3. That is when some in the crowd started getting (”what’s going on”) restless. Go to about the 3 minute mark and you should hear them at about 3:10.
