John Podesta's close association with Hitlery could have had some small, but critical impact on the 2016 election, but it was given the brush-off by the Partisan Media Shills. We all know that, had the Trump campaign included any lifelong UFO enthusiasts, it would have been drummed home every day from Trump's announcement that he was going to run until the second week of November 2016. Podesta appears to be all-in regarding the reality of UFOs as ET in origin. There's ample documentation of that just on FR. Yeah, that's it -- he'd talked Hitlery into full disclosure, and THEY engineered the victory of Donald Trump to prevent that!!! ;^)

Here's where someone makes the analogy that orange is the new black. :^)

The reptilian stuff is a little interesting, but it doesn't add up. It's probably an outgrowth of this idea, or maybe it came from the night terrors of someone who was frightened by a childhood visit to the herpetarium (my favorite part of the zoo, btw).

To say the least, I'm not a fan of Sitchin, who was a remarkably brazen liar, with no idea what he was talking about regarding either written Sumerian sources or Kepler's laws of motion. There's no other native intelligent species in the Solar System, and that's probably lucky for us.

If something were to be found -- we've barely scratched the surface of a few nearby bodies -- it wouldn't be very much like us, and wouldn't be able to live in Earth conditions. Microbial life is one thing, that's probably going to be found (again -- Lewin's experiment on the Viking lander probably found microbial life, if not, nothing makes sense), but microbes don't build the Great Pyramid. That's a job for humans under the spell of a deep-seated supporting myth.

The fact that there have been multiple official "explanations" (cover stories) for certain reported UFO crashes (and even sightings) suggests that all of those "explanations" have been b.s. Super-advanced technology? Machines break down, fail. Given that interstellar travel would open up literally the entire galaxy (and more?), ET critters have probably been visiting Earth since long before our ancestors were here (irrespective of our origin). There have been hundreds of thousands of reports since Kenneth Arnold's, the phantom aerial vehicles in both world wars, there were plenty of "flaps" in the 19th century, plus probable and possible reports going back into dim antiquity -- all of those were hoaxed by the Soviet Union using their ****ing time machine. /sarc

I'm not of the view that ETs are thousands or millions of years in advance of us. My guess is, the whole outhouse of light-limit physics is going to go up in flames, relatively soon, and the breakthroughs, whatever they may be, that move us out of our era of chemical propulsion, will take place in, you guessed it, 100 years. I'd go so far as to guess two generations.

Thanks BenLurkin and all.

Sometimes if you ask the wrong questions you get the wrong answers.

I would encourage you to check out Charles James Hall’s multi-volume set (Millenial Hospitality) on his experiences in the Nevada desert. He claims that he had contact with “alien” creatures who have lived in the desert for hundreds of years.

Great points.

Certainly Sitchin was a fraud.

Actually, as my housemate has noted, a Biblical study of certain verses and original root word meanings lends some validity to some aspects of the reptilian stuff.

Certainly there are 100's of anecdotal witness stories about the reptoids--witnesses who are otherwise quite convincing and congruent in their narratives.

I agree, there's no requirement at all that such critters be thousands or millions of years more advanced than we are. What a crock of horse biscuits and fanciful drivel that idea is.

Time will tell . . . and that time is 'rushing' toward us a lot faster than I'd prefer. The new 'paradigm' will be full of far more tyranny and horror than most folks could imagine in their worst nightmares.

Great seeing your post.

“I’m not of the view that ETs are thousands or millions of years in advance of us.”

given where we are on our understanding of the biomolecular mechanical foundations of Earth life, general knowledge, technology, AND the exponential trajectory of our accretion of same, ourselves and our terrasphere could have easily been made by a group only a few hundred years more advanced than us.

However, there’s the discrepant issue that the terraforming of Earth itself took hundreds of millions of our years (unless some kind of time warp was involved), which leads me to believe that the group could be quite old assuming it existed throughout the terraforming. I also strongly suspect that when the group started (assuming it was one group), it proceeded in an incremental fashion, advancing its knowledge and technology just like we do, and that they started with making viruses, then single cell animals, making ever more complex biomolecular creatures and systems, each step of the way based on the previous steps. That is, when they were making single cell animals, they had no idea how to make a homo sapiens, just as when we made the first transistor, we had no concept of the Internet, the integrated circuit, the CPU, the laptop, or Windows 7 Pro x64.

In the last decade, three major potential advances in physics and technology have begun to percolate.

A device known as the EM Drive is in early proof of concept testing, with the space agencies of the US, China, and Europe busily at work. A form of thruster that relies on microwaves without a reaction mass such as that provided by chemical fuel, the EM Drive -- if valid -- could make a trip to the Moon a matter of hours and Mars a matter of a week or two.

The much derided concept of Cold Fusion has re-emerged under the name Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), with a clutch of avid experimenters and inventors claiming positive test results, attracting support from investors and institutions, and getting patents filed and approved. If successful in yielding a practical technology, LENR would provide an abundance of cheap, clean, reliable energy capable of replacing most forms of heat and electric power generation and the internal combustion engines used in transportation.

More speculatively, Mexican theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre has proposed that negative energy could be used to warp spacetime around a spacecraft so as to make faster than light travel possible. As he and other physicists have refined his calculations, the "Alcubierre Drive" has gone from virtual science fiction to something that might one day be within reach.

These developments have several things in common: serious interest by NASA; a grounding in current theoretical physics, even if on contested reasoning that would lead to major revisions if experimental verification is accepted by the physics community; and, I would bet, most of those actively involved in the work believe that UFOs are real and of alien origin.

Technology and discovery was going gangbusters through the 1930s. Most research was privately funded then. WWII happened and the bomb changed everything.

Since the US Government became the primary patron of scientific discovery, significant progress in physics in particular has been relatively stalled.

The notable exceptions were proving Einstein’s theory on the existence of gravity waves and the verification of the Higgs boson.

There is, today, one of the most protected facilities in the USG that houses Tesla’s ‘recovered’ documents in New Mexico. Extremely highly controlled access.

Einstein was once asked, “What is it like to be the most intelligent man in the world?”

His reply, “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Nikola Tesla.”

Einstein even believed Heisenberg was more intelligent. His math pretty much saved quantum theory.

As for the speed of light being a limit, what we do know is that it works for building bombs and making nuclear power plants.

What may change is that a new branch of physics springs up along the lines of ‘dimensional physics’. The physics of spacetime and its properties.

I’ve never felt good about the notion of ‘dark matter’ to explain where all the missing matter in the Universe may be. I think we don’t know enough about spacetime and its properties - whether and how it can be folded, etc.

I know this - Tesla had likely solved the world energy problem before his money guy pulled the plug on him.

He was harvesting electrical energy from ‘the air’ and transmitting it either over the air or through the ground to a receiving station. He hinted that this electricity was only the tip of the sundae - that there was vastly more energy in ‘empty air’ than anybody could imagine.

It’s fun to think about, but entrenched interests and government’s role as an erector of barriers into new markets will keep any of this from our generation and the millenial generation.

The millenials are shaping up to be a pretty good generation. They are calling BS on the Boomers (aka ‘The Locust Generation), and the acquiescent X’ers that followed them.
