I have despised Harvey Weinstein since he “bullied” the Academy in to awarding a Best Picture Oscar to the insipid “Shakespeare in Love” over “saving Private Ryan”. When is Hollywood going to undo this travesty? Like Joe Paterno, when is Hollywood going to rescind all the Oscar’s attributed to this serial sexual predator?

Very interesting. I know that there are strong lobbying efforts made for movies to receive awards. Do you have a source proving Weinstein’s bullying if the Academy? I would like to read it.
“Saving Private Ryan” was a great “horrible” movie...and that’s exactly why it should’ve won the Oscar.
It should be shown in every public school during a US History class (not sure what grade though).
