I think you are forgetting that those who do or would go to the games are in the main Conservative. Football is Conservatives sport in the same way Tennis is a Liberals sport.
I beg your pardon, tennis is most certainly not a liberal sport, we tennis ladies wouldn’t vote for shrillery under any circumstances.
