No I don’t know the coordinate for this new satellite, I suspect that information wouldn’t be public, and I doubt I would be able to tell you if I did know. I’m sure you could do a quick search to find out if it is public.
The shuttle video looks to me like it’s probably a duplication process malfunction. At that time, while most video recording was done on tape, not film, and some was even electronic/digital, although that was leading edge and not commercially commonplace. But editing for shows like this or for reproduction was not always done with the best of technology... someone may have even been using projectors screens and video recorders to make dupes and edits. Even f they weren’t physical screens, they could have been using blue screen with chroma. What you are seeing is an editing room reflection. :D

Problem with your theory is that the shadow of the Shuttle is on the big head NASA guy’s face... and there are no stars in the shots.

And as someone who’s edited old time video formats, not sure what you are referring to that this is a dupe error with projectors? Are you saying they would have used a kinescope set up for tape to tape?
