The rate of fire and waveforms match almost exactly. If you have ever used a bump fire you know they are finnicky at best and certainly not capable of firing a perfect 74 round burst as shown in this video.

Yeah, keeping an open mind is being a sheep to you, because I don’t start with the pre-conclusion that everything that happens is a government conspiracy.
I’m sorry if I don’t worship 4chan and Alex Jones. I don’t like being told what to think. I also don’t follow the MSM for the same reason.
Anyway... enjoy your little world of paranoia.
The article title says “M240 Machine Gun.” No links, no M240. And, yes, sound from a YouTube video is a stupid method of comparison, too.
You do realize that according to the conspiracy loons on here that post means you’re either a government shill or Media Matters troll, don’t you?
No keeping an open mind is what I am doing. You are the chump.
Think it’s funny that you think the case is already solved. It’s not and still being investigated.
We are simply asking questions and your panicking. Why do questions scare you? Like I said you have a default sheep or cult like mind set. That’s fine if you want to be a chump then be a chump.
Well, I’ll admit that the first few times I heard the videos that everyone was playing Monday, I thought “Dang, that sure sounds like an M-60!!!”.
Even teased myself that I could hear the links and brass falling on concrete below (which of course is pretty dang unlikely from ~500 yards away, what with all the other noises going on).
But it probably wasn’t what it sounded like to me.

Interesting ..
Where did I say the case is solved? Don’t put words in my mouth.
Unlike you, I haven’t made up my mind. You have.
Panicking? Laughable at best.
Is that strobe light still shooting at the Fox reporter?
I thought the opposite.
Definitely not 7.62.
Should be able to find a recording audio and determine the cyclic rate of fire and at this stage find rounds which were shot to verify the weapons used.
If you know the case is not solved, then why are you attacking people that asking questions???
Oh that’s right only the government can ask questions right and no one else? Right???
Did you not say enjoy your paranoia???
I can tell you are very low IQ. I would estimate around 80.
Just go away. Haha!
S.M.H.
Good Lord, Paddock did not need any accuracy whatsoever in this situation. If he could hit a barn wall @ 50 ft. with his rig, he’d be able to incur the # of casualties he did.
I shudder to think of the result had he had any accuracy: He was shooting for 13 minutes at a high rate AT A CROWD OF 22,000 PEOPLE.
Your questions all come from a pre-conceived conclusion aimed to come up with the result you want.
But, whatever. Keep wallowing in your little world of paranoia. I’m sure if it turns out it was just a crazy guy that snapped you’ll continue to claim it a conspiracy so you can say you were right.
THAT’S paranoia.
Now, that is an interesting piece of information.
What are the odds of blowing one or more of those tanks with the various weapons being suggested, at the distance they were at in this case?
I believe Mythbusters did something like that and found it fairly difficult to blow a tank like that by shooting at it.
Been a while since I saw the episode so I’m not real sure of the conclusion.
The part that bothered me of the bump fire excuse was that I’VE never been able to bump fire with such quality as on the video I’ve heard in LV.
Sure sounded like auto fire to me.
No that is exactly what you are doing and it’s why you are dismissing questions as paranoid.
Clearly you lack facts, logic, and critical thinking. The only thing you do is parrot what your are told. Polly want a cracker?
I’m simply asking questions because the B.S. narrative you apparently believe does not add up. It’s completely malarkey.
For the record, I am not alone. Millions of people are asking these questions too.
#47. Re “SAWS can use magazines, but that firing method isn’t terribly reliable”.
Tell that to my son who was his squad’s M249 gunner in Iraq. Box Clip-fed 250 rounds each. He was a sharpshooter, taking out enemy ground and building shooters/attackers.
And the bullets just pile up when you do shoot. Great picture of my son at a police training range in New Mexico with about 200 shells piled up next to his prone position. I feel really sorry for the cactus when he finished his training.
And you don’t see how paranoid that very post was?
Also the arrogance? Because someone doesn’t believe exactly the way you do they “lack facts, logic and critical thinking”?
I’m not “parroting” a damn thing. I’m speaking my mind, also keeping an open mind.
I went into this whole story with the mindset of “something bad happened here.”
You went into it with the mindset of “it’s a government coverup!!”
We’ll see where it goes.
my first impression was an M60
Are the antis suing the manufacturers of bump-stocks yet?
