I saw on in my central Texas yard last week. It was about 1.25” long and grey in color. Much bigger and had a ridge down the center of his back. I left him alone and when I came back to the same area 10 minutes later he was gone.
Weird bug.

I know I have seen those bugs in Florida in the 1970s. We even called them “stink bugs.” They make an unpleasant, moderately strong smell when crushed.

It may be a stink bug, but it’s a sweet little bug. I just swish them into a cup and let them fly away outside.

these Works with drain flies, but not as good as a propane torch (if they are resting on the sink, etc..
