I should add that no hotel is ever going to want the question of “Does a hotel have a duty to know if a guest has enough firepower to invade Poland in his or her room?” to go to a jury.

Because to be honest, I’m somewhat torn on that question myself. I can totally understand how he got that many weapons into his room. But man.....that’s a lot of contraband.

I think part of the issue here is that hotels on the Vegas Strip know that at any given hour, dozens of illegal activities are taking place on their premises. Everyone is trained to turn a blind eye to everything except cheating.

How long was there? So he made a number of trips back down to his car to pick up another load of weapons so as not to look conspicuous. Unless a porter was suspicious I doubt anyone would really notice. Now is a different story as every employee is probably asked to stay on alert for anything suspicious.
