concur

I think the dodgers should be VERY wary of the d-backs in a short set. Dbacks are a dangerous team.

should be interesting, either way.....

Oh, please, the Yankees?

Why? Because they won a lot in the past? This season they were not as good as even the Red Sox, let alone the smokin’ hot Indians. Nope.

My guess is Minnesota in 4.

If Chris Sale can help the Sox over the Astros, I think they’ll be the champs. That said, two people from my favorite college baseball team (underrated because they are known for women’s basketball, UConn) will be playing against each other. (Boston’s Matt Barnes and Houston’s George Springer).

Not so sure - The Dodgers really have not done well against the D-Backs since the All Star Break. It might have been a case of the Dodgers not putting a lot of effort into the games because they were so far ahead, but I think the Diamondbacks may just have their number.

Dodgers v Indians - Cleveland wins.

Today in Baseball Oct 3 1951

The Giants win the pennant, the Giants win the pennant.

Bobby Thomson hits a homer off of Ralph Branca as the Dodgers lose to the Giants.

(LaSorda was in the bull pen)

Root, root, root for the Dodgers!
If they don’t win, it’s a shame!

Go Boston Red Sox *and* Go Pirates! :-)

I predict my Red Sox will NOT get far into the post season, unfortunately...

I don’t think the Dodgers get to the World Series.

I like the depth of the Nationals and the deep bullpen, youthful enthusiasm, and balance of the Yankees. It’s hard to pick against Cleveland or Houston. Boston, I hate to say, will be a factor. And the Cubs are teh defending World Champions for a reason.

I frankly admit that I despise the Red Sox and I despise the Dodgers.

Do you have insider info that the Yankees are picking up Otani?

No inside info but from what I'm reading, the Yankees are in on this guy!

D’backs aren’t far-fetched. They have a better run differential than the Dodgers.

Indians vs D’backs

Cubs had a hangover the first half of the season, but have played well down the stretch.

Underestimate them at your peril.

Dittos to all of that! Best day of the year: ‘Pitchers and catchers report’ day! Worst day of the year: The day following the last World Series game, knowing no MLB until spring training!

Worst day of the year: The day following the last World Series game ...
Amen to that. I wish some cable company would pick up the Winter League games. I'd even pay extra for them.

Have you viewed the YouTube 1950-1960 radio, (and some video but I like the radio ones), stuff? During the longgggggggggggggggg cold winter months with no MLB it is fun to click onto a full game original recording of an old days MLB game broadcast as it happened, mix an adult beverage, (Just one? Yeah right!), sit back and stay up late, watch the snow come down and enjoy MLB as it was enjoyed back then from the long ago little transistor radio days! It seems like it all happened only yesterday......
