I think you are right. I keep asking myself, what would get me to start watching again. I don’t know. If they stop the kneeling, I don’t know if I can forget that they hate their own country and us by extension. I think a new league could do well overnight. The people they cut every year are within a whisker of being good enough. Some people they cut could have been superstars if given a few years to develop. I have always thought that football needed a minor league system for those people. There are people like Kurt Warner all over the place. Tom Brady, too. People who no one thought much of coming out of college, and with a little development, became hall of famers.
So, anyway, I might have to wait for a new league. Not sure 3 weeks of no kneeling would do it. And we don’t even have that.
It’s the thuggery that I’m sick of. Kids looks up to this and emulate it. Every week an NFL players is arrested with domestic violence being the most common charge. I’m just sick of these thugs having their arses kissed. What is so great about covering your body in tattoos and going around acting like a gangsta? This is what they are pushing on kids and I’m finished with it.

I know. Because even if they stop kneeling, it won’t be because they suddenly valued our nation and our veterans.
It would be because they thought it wasn’t paying off.
They are still stinking traitors.
I can go with maybe a player who is a Jehovah’s Witness or a Mennonite or something, who have a genuine conscience that they can’t do a pledge. I don’t agree with them, but I don’t think they are hating on America or the military.
But this is not the current situation. These people hate America; hate our history; our President; hate our military; and disrespect and dismiss the sacrifices of current and former vets.

The only answer to me is to fire most if not all that have kneeled and like you said hire the ones that were so close but got cut. I bet they would jump at the chance to play and the game would be back to normal in a season or two.
Unfortunately I think we both know this is not going to happen so it's unlikely me or my family will ever be NFL fans again.

Just because their skills lead them to fame in the NFL doesn’t mean that they developed or possess the “ life skills” to realize that they too have been caught in the BLM “ catch 22”
