If they got your license plate number you can just add a warrant on top of the speeding ticket here, officer’s estimate of speed is admissible whether or not he got you on radar. In my younger, stupider days I found that out. Worked twice, third time was the charm but not for me.

When I was 18 I outran the cops TWICE.

In a 1963 Rambler classic, inline six and three on the tree. The key is losing them FAST. If it is remotely prolonged, you’re nailed, usually.

Certainly something to consider.

I get any number of tickets “In the Mail” in DC and MD, but I live in VA.

Speed cams. Never Red lights.

I just throw them away.

As a result, I won’t park on the street in DC because they will tow me. In MD, not so much.

I figure that eventually I’ll get a new car with different tags.
