Attendence may be up, but the much-more-important TV RATINGS are far, far down.

Yes TV ratings are down.

16.5 million vs 17.9 in 2015

But the previous poster mentioned how he saw empty seats in LA, for attendance.
And that is what I addressed.

Also, ESPN which televises 17 games, their viewership dropped 12% (we know ESPN is hemorrhaging viewers)
NBC, televises 19 games, they dropped 10%

Meanwhile Fox and SeeBS both televise 27 games. They dropped 6% and 7%.

What nobody takes into account, is that online viewing is skyrocketing.

We'd like to think that the NFL is struggling. That people aren't showing up or tuning in. But if we actually look at the big picture, and not our bias, we'll see that nothing is really changing.
