Don’t know.

I’m watching a family get torn apart emotionally and financially by advanced Alzheimer’s and severe crippling pain. The ill person is miserable, hates existence, and is not herself. Her loving husband will probably have to lose his house and life savings because of the financial strain.

I’ve always been against suicide, but I’m going to swallow a bullet if I’m headed in that direction.

I've often thought about it, and I think you have a valid argument.

Likewise for a confirmed ALS or similar dread-disease diagnosis that portends nothing but misery for all involved.

I understand that's blasphemy for some, but, again, I see validity in the argument.
