EXACTLY. I love football...and I really love watching it with my 17-year-old son. But why would I pay all of that money on a CONSISTENT basis to see it (I can understand doing it once for the experience)?

I can sit in my chair...rewind when I want...pause when I want...MUTE when I want...and if I don't like the commentators...I can simulcast on a radio station.

AND...I can drink the beverage of my choice for a LOT cheaper.

I don’t know why anyone would watch a game period. 3 plus hours of game stoppages and commercials for 10 - 15 minutes of actual playing time. I watch NFL Redzone, which covers every game without all of that.

Cant stand all the damn commercials on the TV either. Nice weather in September-October more inviting for outdoor activities on Sundays.
