I very much agree, and am considering a run for President, and I would have pretty much a single issue: cracking down on corruption.
I, too, don’t care about the “elite” status of these people — I want them held accountable — and I fully realize that being anti-corruption to any significant degree means that it is highly likely I will be assassinated: I don’t care though, I want the US to have leaders who strive for Justice even if I have to do so myself and it costs me.

Edward, those who go there were the best of intentions have them subdued. This is my believe. There are those prone to corruption, and there are those who are forced to stay quiet. There is no third group. So unless you come from the planet krypton and neither you nor anyone you care about is susceptible to threat, I wish you luck in your political career. You wont get past the party bosses vetting system, let alone have any chance to get into the swamp and get dirty.
