Indeed so.
But, an interesting question is why they would need inside protection — my working-theory is that we have literal as-defined-by-the-Constitution traitors in high-levels of the government, both elected and bureaucratic, and this provides incentive to cover for each other, because once the ball gets rolling
on one of them it will expose other connections which will expose still more. (This accurately describes what we've seen WRT Hillary Clinton and, I think, the Iran Deal.)
Personally, I'd like to see the lid blown off and lots of "elites" get actual prosecutions and convictions; public hangings for the treasonous, and harsh prison for the corrupt.
I don’t care if it takes down Trump himself. Anyone who is involved in exposing our secrets and destroying the continuity and operating integrity of the federal government should be treated as AT THE VERY LEAST exposed themselves and kicked out of any form of civil/govt/elected service, and more, investigated for criminal offenses, and on the fact of it most logically, looked at for treason. Does this government have no sovereignty left or is it all a well constructed illusion?
