I wonder if one of these is what has been eating my garden here in Colorado?

Another creature whites encroached upon and hunted to extinction. If only we had listened to our sleestak friends as we conquered the West.
The last reported specimens were said to be in Arizona’s Gwangi Valley in the 1800’s.
DIRHTAT/ST?

A triceratops would eat your garden in one bite!
On the bright side, it would leave enough manure for two more garden beds.

57 mm or larger. Just to be sure.

You don’t think a great shot with a .22 cal LR could take one? I don’t have a 57 mm.

The University of Colorado at Boulder has a triceratops skull on display in their museum. It is very impressive, just the skull is about half the size of a car.

I was going to suggest a 105mm recoilless rifle—but that’s just me...

That is a little south of where these guys are usually found; MT, ND, Canada.

I don’t have a 105mm recoilless rifle either. My biggest is a 375 H&H Mag. I don’t think I will stay up overnight guarding my garden. We are past the average first freeze date for where I live in Colordo.

Need to check the specimen for red blood cells.

Three horns sticking out of my head is how I feel with a hangover.
Couldn’t imagine living with it 24/7.

That’s only a few miles from my daughter’s house! Really cool. Amazing that they found it in what looks like dirt, not rock.
To: ProtectOurFreedom
I am guessing this find was about 40 miles from my home,
