You are correct. Those specifically-referenced events happen during the Great Tribulation.
These things may foreshadow them but they’re actually not them.
Nonetheless, the damage by current events will be quite real and in the case of Harvey, have already been deadly to a degree. Somebody I talk to online was having a party before the thing arrived, later it was water within 2 feet of their house. They’re still alive. I would have been leaving if possible but that’s me.
Thing is to leave EARLY. The roads turn into long, narrow parking lots very quickly. Having gone through Andrew, Katrina and Rita - the last two while on the road, through the storm - I’m now inclined to get out of Dodge early, often, and while the gas stations still have gas.
