Really, really, really looking forward to fall. Really!!! It was 110 degrees here today. Jumped over the hill to Malibu for a couple hours to bask in their heatwave of 85 degrees.

Instead of casseroles, we’ve been gravitating to chopped watermelon and salads. I would love cozy and warm and feeding my family that ravioli casserole.

I love fall - it’s my fav season. Probably because I’ve always been in deserts and was so happy that the intense summer heat was over, LOL!

I hear family in Bakersfield is sweltering.

While I think we completely missed summer here, in East Tennessee. This is the best August of my life - I got to open windows, have cool evenings, it’s been like in the Twilight Zone. (Except the tomatoes are not happy and the fireflies left early... can’t have it all)

we live in a semi arid climate and we've had 90's for many weeks and it will continue for the foreseeable future, and no rain since June...

you betcha I'm ready for fall food....
