I have taken low-dose lithium orotate as a supplement in the past.

It did have a slight positive effect on my mood, but the effect was negligible compared to other nootropics.

Low,dose lithium orotate is good for the first week(s) of weaning from an addiction. I know someone who beat chronic alcoholism with first lithium orotate and then caffeine (coffee several times a day). Lithium helps the first few weeks, then something to gravitate to that isn’t too unhealthy, like coffee or tea, helps the “habit” part. And then it is easier to wean down a light coffee addiction than alcohol.

Still I don’t want to bathe in lithium, please. I don’t need it. (I wouldn’t drink tap water other than at restaurants or park drinking fountains rarely)
