Football has become a refuge for anti-American thugs, be it the NFL or college. Which of our favorite college teams will be the first to kneel for the national anthem? Throw a dart at them all because anyone with an active brain cell knows that day is coming. When it does, the spectacle of 100,000k people in a stadium on a Saturday in the Fall will be permanently damaged, and I’m OK with that.
Last season Michigan and Michigan State had players raise fists in black power salutes during the National Anthem.
Sports should be limited to club level. Not that it will happen..
I didn't know that and these two are just the beginning of what will be many if not all. Let them kill college football & the NFL. The game is on the way to the cemetery anyway.
For the actions of a few morons, you will deprive yourself? Then I assume you don't care for football all that much to begin with.
Back in the late 60s-early 70s Playboy did a feature on the girls of many colleges. A chart in cartoon form evaluated your chances at "scoring" at each. The only one I remember is Baylor. It said "Baylor girls don't".
I did...fanatically...for decades. But it is no longer just "football." It's a weapon of social justice. The leagues -- NFL and NCAA -- have repeatedly blackmailed states on behalf of the LGBT Mafia...and now the NFL is excusing racism and America-hating Marxism. This season you can be sure the flag/anthem disses will spread across college as well. Impossible to just "enjoy the game" under such circumstances. Both institutions need to be economically harmed for change to occur.
Yet another example of black on white crime.
Come to Baylor, where we sacrifice your daughters at the altar of ghetto feetsballers and a chance at da champeenship. Why in the hell does any one support these “sports programs”
Support for anti-American pro and college sports is another example of ‘normalcy bias’, of a refusal to see that the Culture War is almost irretrievably lost, and that there are merely a few malcontents as opposed to evil institutions.
