Yes, Oregon. The only gas stations I heard that ran out of gas were a couple of them near Prineville, Oregon where there is a mass gathering of 30,000 people. The traffic was backed up for 30 miles and the last 8 were stop and go. That was on Thursday. Keep you tank topped and you should be fine.
Oregon Coast, even in the area of totality is eerily quiet. A news a reporter on scene figured there was a 50-50 chance that the coast may be clouded at totality and that was causing people to go East. There have been motel room cancelations. Lincoln City had a 90% full rate, down from 100%
How crazy. I’m in the Midwest within 3 hours drive of totality, but spotty clouds are predicted so I’m trying to have flexible navigation plans for Monday morning (just hoping 2 million people aren’t changing their plans at the same time).
