IHOP? Denneys? Big plastic menu?

I’ve been hitched so long, 30+ years, my date small talk would prolly be something like:
“So, didja get enough to eat? Are you full?”
“You have to go to the bathroom ... again?”

I miss Golden Corral. It was all-you-can-eat of EVERYthing. It’s a car parts store now. Believe a big part of the problem was failing to refrigerate their food.

I wonder how people dating these days handle the subject of politics... seems like that could pretty much put an abrupt end to the date if you're both not on the same page. Maybe you have to pre-screen them before the first date even to avoid that situation.
