Well, for one thing, the MSM has labeled the entire news conference yesterday as a rant. Now, isn’t a rant the same thing as a rail.
He also repeatedly, repeatedly, yesterday, and in the previous days, condemned neo-Nazis, the KKK, etc. Someone posted a young looking Trump in a 1990 interview condemning David Duke. His mistake is that he condemned the violent al-left and that was the only thing the MSM, and apparently you, heard.

But the bottom line is a Nazi drove a car down the road and everyone saw a video of it. That’s what everyone saw and remembers. Everything else you mention is secondary from a communication point of view. You’re addressing THE EVENT as President in your statement.
If he came out and railed against neo-Nazism in modern America, directed the DOJ to seek justice and merely left the rest to the DOJ/FBI for the long game we’d be in much better shape politically.
